Another idea bouncing around my head which managed to break free! All constructive criticism is more than welcome!

    Triffids

    Simple, yet it has often been said that symmetry is beauty. There's enough going on with the 'roots' to entertain the eye beyond a furtive glance. How does this look with the design placed off-center or on an angle? Reminds me of a movie we watched back in high school - the Day of the Triffids...

    cheers, i did try it off center, but to me it just didnt look as good, coz the symmetry is the main part of this piece.

    i like the colours, almost like a fire flower. personally tho i feel like the flower/petals should be larger, there maybe too many roots. its just there seems to be no resting point for the eye, but i realise you may have wanted the roots to be in emphasis. The roots are beautiful, so as a suggestion, maybe drop the fire flower part, all together and leave the beaut symetrical formation of the roots.

    im new to this site but how many colours r in this. I can see 3 for the flower, 1 for the shirt and 1 for the roots.[5] Ive seen 2 now accepted with too many colours. Just wondering.

    Great design. Like to see it tweaked. Maybe play on the symetry of the flower and the roots. As in a horizontal mirrored effect. Maybe that will simplify the roots down.

    There was one design that seemed to sneak through with too many colours, but this one is fine. The rules are four colours plus the shirt.

    Tasty design. Can't decide on either the tag or green. I think it's the green. Better deparation of colors. Anyway, I want to wear it. 'course it's 11 degrees out today, so I'll waiti 'til Spring, when the deisgn would be terrific.
